“The body of the seventh victim was recovered from the ruins of a house in Belgorod,” the statement said.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that, according to preliminary information, 20 people were injured as a result of the shelling, including two children.

Later, the Russian Defense Ministry said air defense shot down an alleged Ukrainian missile, fragments of which hit the building.
