Citizens of Ukraine with a residence and work permit can stay in Germany. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this yesterday, Deutsche Welle reported.
“The legal situation is such that living here is without doubt. Working also leads to security of residence,” he said in a speech at an event by the RND newspaper group.
The Chancellor also called on Ukrainians to find work in Germany. He expressed hope that refugees from Ukraine will work as soon as they have the opportunity.
It is worth saying that many are already doing this, but there are still several hundred thousand who are urgently needed in the labor market, “said Scholz.
