And representatives of Ukraine Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil, who performed the song Teresa & Maria and performed in the final as number two, took third place. In total, our artists’ competition number received 453 points.
Representatives of Ukraine at Eurovision wore Free Azovstal Defenders T-shirts. So they reminded of the prisoners of war defenders of Mariupol.
The T-shirt you see in the video was featured in almost every interview we did. We symbolically remind you of very important things whenever we have the opportunity to tell the whole world about them! We want to call on the entire world community now, when maximum attention is focused on us, to ensure that prisoners of war are exchanged all for all. So that our guys, girls, children return home, receive decent treatment and a decent standard of living. And most importantly, gratitude from us for everything they experienced,” they wrote on Instagram.
Let us remind you that before the Eurovision final, bookmakers considered Croatian performer Baby Lasagna to be the favorite, Israeli representative Eden Golan was in second position, and Swiss performers Nemo with the song The Code were in third place.
