A tragic incident occurred in the village of Muzykovka when they were grazing cattle near the canal. The explosion occurred because a goat stepped on an explosive object. The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.
According to him, an 11-year-old boy was hospitalized with debris injuries to his legs, chest and abdomen. He has already been operated on and the child’s life is not in danger.
A 63-year-old man was diagnosed with a debris wound to his legs and back. Doctors have already provided him with the necessary medical care.
Let us remind you that the State Emergency Service reported that from February 24, 2022 to May 1, 2024, 669 people were injured from explosive objects in Ukraine, 78 of them were children. More than 297 people died from Russian mines and ammunition, including 15 children.
