Since its publication, the video has been watched more than two million times, it has collected more than seven thousand likes.
Kai Hansen, the owner of a pub on an island in the Adelaide River, Australia, chased a crocodile that was about to attack him with a frying pan. A video of the incident was posted on social media and quickly went viral on Wednesday, June 22, according to NDTV.
The incident took place near a cabin on Goat Island in the Northern Territory.
The video shows the man coming out and approaching the crocodile. The reptile intended to attack him, but he hit it on the head with a frying pan. After the second blow, the crocodile turned and ran away from the river.
The man himself said he decided to go to the river to check the passage for the safety of the visitors, and then a dangerous animal suddenly appeared in his path.
“I wouldn’t say it was a daily event, but I have to ensure safety and do everything in my power. No one was hurt and the crocodile received a good lesson,” Hansen commented on the contrary.
By the way, this isn’t Kai Hansen’s first battle with reptiles. In 2018, his dog was eaten by a three -meter crocodile, though the man was desperately trying to save the pet. Kai admits that he is not afraid of these large reptiles and reacts to them like ordinary animals.
It was previously reported that in the U.S. in Utah, at a children’s birthday party at a reptile center, a crocodile attacked a trainer in front of guests and dragged him into the water.
