The White House suggests preparing the Russian Federation for a large-scale attack on Kharkov

John Kirby believes that the Russian invaders have plans for a more serious attack on this city.

The Russian invaders were apparently preparing to launch a larger offensive against Kharkov. This was stated by the National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, reports Bloomberg correspondent Jennifer Jacobs on X (Twitter).

The Russians “abandoned” the northern part of Ukraine and focused on the eastern regions, the official recalled.

“So it’s very interesting and certainly worrying that they now seem to be preparing to – at the very least – use long-range fire to try to get into Kharkov. And you have to think that you’re not going to do that if you’re not thinking about some other larger attack directly on the city,” Kirby suggests.

We remind you that the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian invaders are trying to break the defense line of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region.
