The Ukrainian military will attack Russian positions in the Serpentine until occupation of the island is finally lifted. Now there are several enemy units. This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov on the air of the telethon on Wednesday, June 21.
“This operation (attack on Zmeiny – ed.) Is continuing, fire damage is inflicted on targets. This operation will continue until the complete liberation of Zmeiny Island,” Budanov stressed.
According to him, an enemy group is now assigned to the island, consisting of air defense units, as well as units armed with multiple launch rocket systems.
At the same time, intelligence recorded a group of boats and special forces units of the Russian Federation on the island.
It will be recalled that on the morning of June 20, a concentrated strike was carried out on Zmeiny Island using various forces and methods of destruction. As a result of the attack, a Russian anti-aircraft missile system, a radar station and automotive equipment were hit.
