The press service of the State Emergency Service of the Lviv region reported this today, May 9.
Yesterday, rescuers received a message that while dismantling the old roof in a utility building, they came across an object that looked like ammunition from the outside. The event took place on the territory of a private farm in Lviv on the street. Varshavskaya, the message says.
Experts determined that the dangerous find was an F-1 hand grenade from World War II.
All necessary actions to destroy this obsolete ammunition have been completed,” the State Emergency Service notes.
