The defender of Azovstal who was released from captivity died at the front

After his release from captivity, Nazariy Grintsevich became the commander of a platoon of optical observers in the Contact 12 unit.

A 21-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, Nazariy Grintsevich, died at the front in Ukraine. It was reported by Public.

It was learned that Nazariy was captured after being evacuated from the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol, where he and his brothers held a defense for three months. He was detained in a colony on the territory of the so-called “DPR” for more than four months.

Last year, on September 21, Grintsevich, along with 215 Ukrainian prisoners of war, was released from Russian captivity as part of a major exchange.

After being released from captivity, the soldier became the commander of a platoon of optical observers in the Contact 12 unit.

We remind you that during the war in Ukraine, a soldier of the Georgian volunteer unit Black Eagle, Soso Gugutishvili, died.

It was also reported that in the village of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region, journalist Andrei Topchiy died during a combat mission.
