Seven EU countries will send representatives to the inauguration. Another 20 countries will boycott this event. EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell was against the bloc’s participation in the event. Reuters writes about this with reference to a European diplomat who wished to remain anonymous.
It is noted that the French Ambassador will arrive in Moscow separately. The USA, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, the Czech Republic, Armenia and the Baltic countries refused to attend Putin’s “inauguration”.
Let us recall that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that Kyiv does not see legal grounds for recognizing Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as the democratically elected and legitimate president of Russia, since the “elections” were accompanied by Russia’s violation of the provisions of numerous international documents that are the basis of the modern system of international relations.
