Due to the widespread war in Ukraine, the number of people requiring a disability determination has increased significantly.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the list of documents required to undergo medical and social examination. The government press service reported this on Monday, May 6.
It was noted that because of the war in Ukraine, the number of people requiring a disability determination has increased significantly. In particular, most of these people are military. That is why a clear list of documents submitted by patients for medical and social evaluation has been determined.
To pass the MSEC for the purpose of establishing (modifying) disability, you must provide:
-
passport of a citizen of Ukraine (if an ID card is presented, an extract from the territorial society register is also required);
-
a certificate of assignment of a taxpayer registration number;
-
for men from 18 to 60 years old, a military ID (temporary certificate of a person liable for military service) or a registration certificate;
-
for those for whom the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine or internment in neutral states has been established – a certificate of being in places of deprivation of liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine.
The medical documents representing the MSEC medical advisory commissions are as follows:
-
referral to MSEC;
-
medical documents related to the disease or condition (derived from the medical record);
-
laboratory results and other studies confirming the diagnosis or condition and its severity;
-
medical, vocational and individual rehabilitation plans;
-
documents proving the cause of disability;
-
documents proving continuous temporary disability for four months.
Separately, changes were made to the passage of MSEC by military personnel. Now the cause of disability relationship, as well as the degree of disability of former military personnel, will be established on the basis of a resolution of the Military Military Commission, issued by a certificate of the Military Military Commission, a certificate of illness, or minutes of a regular meeting of the Military Military Commission.
In this case, the degree of disability for the serviceman will be determined by a commission upon completion of treatment. And based on these data, a program of medical, professional and social rehabilitation will be developed.
We remind you that on May 4, a new law on ensuring the rights of military personnel to social protection was implemented. Among other things, the document provides for the elimination of “limited fit” status for men liable for military service.
