Germany can help Ukraine return men liable for military service. The Tagesspiegel reported this on Sunday, May 5, in relation to the Interior Minister of the German federal state of Hesse, Roman Poseck.

According to German television, the federal states and the German Ministry of the Interior plan to discuss the situation with the Ukrainian men on Tuesday, May 7. The federal states want Berlin to take some kind of national decision.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense named the categories eligible for service. In Ukraine there are no longer any men with “limited fitness” status for military service. Instead, they will be divided into four categories based on health status.
