The explosion occurred on Saturday afternoon, May 4, in the Russian city of Belgorod. The incident occurred between 14:30 and 15:00. This was reported by local Telegram channels that published photos and videos of the fire at the site of the explosion.

A Russian official admitted that five people were injured in the explosion. They received injuries of varying severity.
Due to the explosion, 30 private houses and 10 vehicles were damaged.
Gladkov also said that rescuers are trying to extinguish the two fires.
