“Now this is a priority task, because, especially, in Donbass, as you know, they lost part of the territory in the Avdeevsky direction because they did not receive support from the United States for six months, which now it’s starting to come,” said Kirby.
He noted that Ukrainian forces are already using the aid they received “to improve their defense lines.”
“The decision on the further use of this support and its possible use in counter-offensive operations will be made by the Ukrainian side,” Kirby emphasized.
First of all, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin assured that the United States will not allow Ukraine to lose the war. According to him, military aid to Ukraine is the West’s investment in its own security.
