The High Anti-Corruption Court released former people’s deputy and former head of Ukrbud Maxim Mykytas, whose house arrest period has expired, on bail in the amount of UAH 908,400. This was reported by the VAKS press service.

“The investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the SAPO prosecutor’s request and changed the preventive measure for the former head of one of the capital’s construction companies. Thus, the court changed the preventive measure in the form of house arrest to a preventive measure in the form of bail The amount of cash bail is UAH 908,400,” – said the message.
The suspect is entrusted with the following responsibilities: to arrive at every request to the investigator (detective), prosecutor and court, to inform the investigator (detective), prosecutor or court about a change in his place of residence and place of work, to refrain from communicating with persons specified in the court order, surrender to deposit with the relevant government authorities your passport for travel abroad, other documents giving the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine, and wear electronic control methods. The duration of the obligations is two months.

It was previously reported that developer Maxim Mikitas was detained after attempting to pay a record bribe of 22 million euros to Dnepr mayor Boris Filatov. The court then released former People’s Deputy Mikitas in pre-trial detention, but reduced his bail, and in November of last year he was placed under house arrest.
