For the allocated funds, it is possible to provide another 300 thousand drones for the needs of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The government allocated an additional 15.5 billion hryvnias for the purchase of drones. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced this on Telegram on Tuesday, April 30.
“This is an additional resource to the 43.3 billion UAH that we have already allocated for drones this year. The funds will go to the Administration of the State Special Communications Agency, which is involved in the relevant procurement,” he wrote.
The head of the government assured that such financial resources will allow the provision of another 300 thousand drones to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
We remind you that Ukraine is capable of producing 2 million drones per year. This requires additional financial support for businesses and Western countries and businesses.
The media also reported that Ukraine will soon use long-range drones to attack Russian targets in the Urals and the Arctic.
