An enemy UAV was conducting reconnaissance of the area in the area of the Russian-Ukrainian border. There he was discovered by Special Operations Forces operators. The enemy drone landed unharmed on Ukrainian territory. For this purpose, electronic warfare equipment was used. The command of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on April 30 in Telegram.
According to the MTR, the Russians use Tachyon for reconnaissance and fire adjustment both during the day and at night. This drone can also work as a communications repeater.
The UAV itself includes two aircraft, a set of replaceable modules (thermal imaging camera, color video camera, photo camera, relay equipment), a control station and a catapult.
Let us recall that operators of the 3rd separate MTR regiment, during reconnaissance operations in one of the hottest areas, discovered an enemy Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system preparing to launch missiles. The enemy system was destroyed by Ukrainian missilemen.
