Ursula von der Leyen assured that the EU government “is well aware of how dangerous TikTok is.”
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, did not rule out the introduction of a ban on TikTok in the European Union. He said this in a debate held in Maastricht, where the party’s leading candidates for the 2024 election took part, Politico reports.
“It (the ban – ed.) has not been ruled out,” the official said.
He noted that the European Commission was “the very first institution in the world to ban TikTok from our corporate phones.”
“We know very well how dangerous TikTok is,” stressed the head of the European Commission.
As you know, on April 23, 79 members of the US Senate voted for this bill.
