As the State Border Service of Ukraine reported on April 28, the drowned men were found yesterday evening in Transcarpathia while patrolling the Ukrainian-Romanian border. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and members of the National Police were called to the scene of the incident. Due to high rapids and strong currents, it was not possible to remove the body from the water until the morning. The identities of the victims are currently being established.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this is the 24th death of men trying to cross the river. We warn you to refrain from such “travels”, as it may be dangerous for your life.
