A man has been accused of setting fire to a commercial premises in London, connected to Ukraine.
A trial has begun in Britain of a man who worked in favor of Russia and recruited people to burn real estate linked to Ukraine. Reuters wrote this on Friday, April 26.
It was noted that 20-year-old Dylan Earl appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London charged with two offenses under the National Security Act.
The man provided information to foreign intelligence, in particular, agreeing to conduct reconnaissance and further reconnaissance of targets, as well as trying to recruit people to help him carry out such activities.
According to the investigation, Earl took “actions that endangered a person’s life or actions that created a serious risk to the health or safety of the public in the United Kingdom.”
Earle was also charged with aggravated arson at a commercial premises in London. Prosecutors said the arson charges were related to commercial properties with ties to Ukraine.
Bild reported that another man was accused of receiving material benefits from a foreign intelligence service.
It is known that two men are accused of arson, and another young man is accused of having information related to terrorist activities.
It was previously reported that Romania has been the target of a network of Russian spies trying to collect information about military exercises and aid to Ukraine.
