An official hit people at a pedestrian crossing in Brovary. Three adults and one child were injured. The victims are provided with all necessary assistance, primarily medical assistance. The head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, announced this on Facebook.
The head of the region promised that the head of the RVA would be fired. He emphasized that such behavior by an official is unacceptable. Kravchenko called on law enforcement officers to quickly give a proper legal assessment of this event and conduct an objective and impartial investigation.

The Kyiv region police reported details of the accident. On Facebook, law enforcement officers reported that the incident occurred on April 26 in Brovary. It is preliminary known that the RVA official did not stop at the traffic light and crashed into pedestrians. Four people were injured, including a child. Doctors diagnosed them with injuries of varying severity.
The culprit of the accident was tested for alcohol content – the Drager device showed 2.31 ppm. The offender was detained, investigators initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286-1 (violation of road safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on April 22, in the Kyiv region, near the village of Oliva, Ivankovskaya territorial community, a minibus fell into the abyss. As a result of the tragedy, two people died, seven victims were hospitalized with injuries.
