This has been observed over the past week. The ground forces of the aggressor country created a narrow protrusion deep into Ukrainian territory to enter the city of Ocheretino, located approximately 15 km north of the center of Avdiivka. This is stated in the new summary of the British Ministry of Defense for April 26, published on the social network X.
British intelligence reports that after the occupation of Avdeevka in February this year, this direction remains one of the main areas of Russian operations. Despite the regular huge losses, it is possible that the invaders may still continue to shell Ukrainian defense positions in the area and take control of several small settlements.
Russian troops, after capturing Avdeevka, continue to advance west of the city and at the same time increased pressure in the Bakhmut direction, where Vremya Yar became the epicenter of the fighting.
Let us recall that on April 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past 24 hours, 104 military clashes took place between the Defense Forces and the occupiers. Most of all, the Russians attack Ukrainian positions in the Avdeevsky, Bakhmutsky and Novopavlovsky directions.
