China launches the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft

The spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China using the Changzheng-2F launch vehicle.

China launched the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft to send three Chinese astronauts to its orbiting Tiangong (Sky Palace) space station for a six-month mission. This was reported by Xinhua news agency.

The spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China using the Changzheng-2F launch vehicle.

It was earlier reported that China has launched an experimental satellite into orbit. The Changzheng-2B launch vehicle carrying a satellite launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
