The enemy could change entire attacks and would likely focus on hitting transport infrastructure, logistics and military depots. The invaders already attacked transport infrastructure facilities in Dnepropetrovsk on April 19, and may repeat and expand these attacks in the coming weeks to cut off Ukrainian land lines of communication. This is stated in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Russian troops are likely to step up drone and missile strikes in the coming weeks to inflict as much damage as possible on Ukraine’s infrastructure and defense industrial base before U.S. help arrives, analysts say.
ISW also believes that the occupiers may intensify offensive operations in the coming weeks before Ukraine receives a new batch of American military aid. According to experts, the enemy will try to advance near Chasovoy Yar, west of Avdiivka, as well as west and southwest of Donetsk.
Let us remind you that on April 22, the Russians announced the alleged complete capture of Novomikhailovka in the Novopavlovsk direction, but part of the settlement is still controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
