The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive a large number of armored vehicles, including Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, which have proven themselves on the battlefield.
The United States is preparing an impressive military aid package for Ukraine. Its value will be $1 billion, Reuters reported on Tuesday, April 23.
The agency received information from two American officials.
“The aid package includes vehicles, Stinger air defense ammunition, additional HIMARS ammunition, 155mm artillery ammunition, TOW and Javelin anti-tank ammunition and other weapons that can be used immediately on the battlefield,” the statement said.
In this regard, Politico clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers, Humvees, and missiles.
Earlier on Tuesday, media reported that most of the weapons from the US aid package were already in warehouses in Germany and Poland. This will allow it to be quickly delivered to the front in Ukraine.
As you know, on April 20, the US House of Representatives passed a bill to provide almost $61 billion in aid to Ukraine. Most of this huge amount will go to military support.
