Organizers of the fundraiser noted the importance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ help and added: “If the government won’t do it, we will.”
Residents of Slovakia raised more than three million euros through crowdfunding (fundraising data where publicly available – ed.) to support the Czech government’s initiative to buy artillery shells for Ukraine.
The website of the Munícia pre Ukrajinu fundraising project states that approximately 50 thousand donors have already joined the initiative.
“The public donation for ammunition for Ukraine reached another impressive milestone – 3 million euros With our united support, Slovakia confirmed that it is an unwavering supporter of Ukraine, then we will do it! ” – said the message.
Fundraising is ongoing and organizers have called for the continuation of “this important initiative for Ukrainians,” organizers said.
We wrote earlier that in a few days the residents of Slovakia were able to raise about two million euros for the purchase of shells for Ukraine as part of the Czech initiative.
