The most unstable weather in Ukraine occurs in July. During this period, Ukrainians should prepare for the “whims” of nature.
This summer in Ukraine will be hot, but you should not expect abnormally high temperatures. The average summer air temperature is probably only 1-2 degrees above normal. Meteorologist Vera Balabukh spoke about this on Sunday, April 21, in an interview with Channel 24.
He explained that during the summer the wind from the Atlantic will prevail, bringing moderate moisture and heat to Ukraine.
“Periods of prolonged hot weather are unlikely,” he said.
Balabukh added that no abnormally large amounts of rain are predicted in summer.
“Rainfall for the season is likely to fall within the climatic norm,” he said.
The meteorologist added that the most unstable weather in Ukraine should be expected in July. Then Ukrainians should prepare for strong winds and rain.
“This month there will be a lot of rain, lightning, hail, and storms,” he warned.
We remind you that March 2024 has been warmer than any previous March in the entire history of observations. The average temperature in March 2024 was 14.14 degrees Celsius, one-tenth of a degree higher than the previous record in 2016.
In Kyiv, for the first time since 1944, a record was set for the highest wind speed
