The Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support does not have complete information about persons liable for military service.
There is a case being discussed online when sports journalist Artem Frankov, who died last year, was summoned. The Kiev City Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support responded to the incident.
The TCC noted that such situations are not isolated, as the military registration and enlistment office does not have complete information about persons liable for military service.
“Such cases are not isolated and occur due to the fact that citizens do not update their personal data on time directly at the territorial recruitment and social support centers,” the message said.
The TCC clarified that other state registries may also provide false data about citizens.
“Thus TCC and SP do not have complete and reliable information about people who may be called up for military service,” emphasized the office of military registration and enlistment.
The territorial recruitment center assumes administrative and criminal liability for violation of the rules of military registration of those liable for military service and avoidance of conscription for military service during mobilization in a special period.
We remind you that on April 20, a photo of a summons addressed to the deceased Football magazine editor Artem Frankov spread online. The calls include a requirement to appear on April 20 at the TCC of Kyiv’s Obolonsky district to update data and undergo VLK.
Let’s recall that in 2023, Ukrainians received 1,274 sentences in court cases for avoiding military service. We are talking about suspended and real prison terms of up to 5 years.
