The launcher was delivered to the United States on an An-124 transport aircraft, which took off from the Polish city of Rzeszow on April 5. The aircraft, registration UR-82027, landed at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, Pennsylvania. “Military” writes about this.
The corresponding video was posted on Facebook by user Dustin Weese. It remains unknown where the Petriot was damaged. The publication writes that the installation received minor damage – this is evidenced by the video.
The anti-aircraft missile launcher will soon begin to be repaired. “Military” emphasized that this is not the first time that Ukrainian equipment has been noticed in the United States.
Let us remind you that on April 13, the German government decided to immediately send another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. Also, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces could receive six more Petriots from NATO partners.
