In the next few weeks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive another Iris-T SLM anti-aircraft missile system. This was stated by the head of the arms company Diehl Defense (manufacturer of the Iris-T SLM air defense system) Helmut Rauch. He and German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck are in Kyiv on April 18, writes BILD.
Three of our systems are already in Ukraine, and more will be delivered this year. The next one is just a few weeks away,” Rauch noted.
Habeck added that it is important for security and peace in Europe that Ukraine has the strength to defend itself. He stressed that if the Russian dictator succeeds in Ukraine, he will continue the war.
Let us recall that on April 13, the German government decided to immediately send another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine to repel Russian attacks.
