This was reported by the organizers of the event, Liberation Mission.
The event is held at the level of heads of state, but Vladimir Putin was not invited to the event.
“Given the circumstances, President Putin will not be invited,” the organizing committee said. “However, Russia will be invited… to honor the importance of the dedication and sacrifice of the Soviet peoples, as well as its contribution to the victory in 1945.”
This is the first invitation to an event with the participation of heads of state received from Western countries in Russia after February 24, 2022.
It is still unknown whether Vladimir Zelensky has been invited to the event.
