The United States will not protect Ukrainian skies from Russian missiles and drones, as happened with Israel during the recent massive attack by Iran.

John Kirby, Coordinator for Strategic Communications of the National Security Council, stated this during a briefing at the White House, LB.ua reports.
According to Kirby, “We’re talking about different countries, different airspace, different threat landscapes.”
He noted that US President Joe Biden made it clear from the very beginning of the “conflict” that the United States would not participate in hostilities in Ukraine.
Kirby noted that the White House considers the best solution to be the provision of weapons and air defense systems to the Ukrainian military, but now the administration cannot do this because “there is no additional funding for national security.”
Let us recall that earlier the British Foreign Ministry also explained why the country’s military aircraft do not help Ukraine shoot down drones, as was the case in Israel.
