The force of the storm that caused destruction in the eastern and central regions is moving to the west.
Bad weather on the night of Monday, April 15, occupied several regions of Ukraine. The wind tore off the roofs of houses and downed power lines. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center declared the danger level I (yellow).
So, in the Novopokrovskaya community of the Dnieper region, a strong storm tore off the roofs of several houses.
“Unfavorable weather conditions led to wire breaks, so the settlements are now without electricity,” said Nikolai Lukashuk, head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council.
The situation is the same in the Gleevat community of the Krivoy Rog region.
In Krivoy Rog itself, around 19:00, emergency power outages were introduced throughout the city due to bad weather. Therefore, the operation of hospitals and critical infrastructure is transferred to generators. However, power was eventually restored to 145,000 families.
In the Kirovograd region, local authorities warned that power lines in the region could be down as a result of worsening weather.
“Wires lying on the ground, hanging on trees, structures, pose a mortal threat because they are living them”, they remind Kirovograd OVA.
In Zaporozhye, as a result of a gust of wind, tree branches fell on a residential building, which led to damage to five balconies and one window. There were no reports of casualties among residents of the regional center, the State Emergency Service reported.
In total, employees of the State Emergency Service went out 15 times to eliminate the consequences of bad weather in Zaporozhye and the Zaporozhye region.

They warned that on the night of April 16, a severe deterioration in weather conditions, thunder and lightning, and sometimes wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in some places.
On the night of April 16 in the Transcarpathian, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil regions there were storms, in some places there were squalls of 15-20 m/s, heavy rain.
In particular, in the regions of Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkassy, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Donetsk and Luhansk, there are storms, in some places there are squalls of 15-20 m / s (risk level, yellow).
