The reason for the signal to be triggered will be the Su-57 fighter taking off to approach the borders, which is capable of carrying the cruise missiles of the Kh-69 missiles that destroyed the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant. The tactical and technical characteristics of these missiles expand the capabilities of the occupiers to strike the territory of Ukraine. Military expert, development director of the information consulting company Defense Express Valery Ryabykh said this on air on the Espresso TV channel.
That is why the takeoff of Su-57 aircraft in Russia will lead to an air raid warning throughout Ukraine. Fortunately, the Russians today have a small number of such missiles, he noted.
Ryabykh emphasized that the Su-57 is a transitional aircraft, although in Russia it is called a “fifth generation fighter.” In total, the enemy army may have a dozen such aircraft in service. In 2022, six Su-57 units were produced, and in the past only three.
As you know, the Russian army adopted the Su-57 fighter in 2018, and on December 25, 2020, the Russian Military Space Forces received the first production fighter. This aircraft is flown by only one pilot. The flight range is 4 thousand 500 km, and the combat radius is 2 thousand km.
Let us recall that Defense Express reported that the Russian occupiers attacked the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant in the Kyiv region with their new X-69 cruise missiles, the launch range of which was about 400 km. Subsequently, experts discovered many components from Europe and Asia in this rocket.
