On April 15, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that he met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Bart Eide.
The parties discussed preparations for signing an agreement on security, defense cooperation and strengthening of Ukrainian air defense.
Zelensky said the meeting was meaningful and practical.
“Our teams have completed the preparation of a bilateral security agreement in which we discussed further defense cooperation, but the most urgent thing is the strengthening of our air defense. – said the president.
Let’s remember that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine is counting on Norway’s help in acquiring the Patriot air defense system from other countries as soon as possible the specific steps of the Norwegian side in this direction has been agreed upon.
