The State Bureau of Investigation reported on April 15 that after the defense has familiarized itself with the materials, the case will be sent to court.
The family of the head of the regional TCC bought cars and luxury real estate abroad (in particular, a house and office in Spain for almost 5 million euros) worth more than 190 million UAH. This is 140 million more than Borisov and his family earned.
He is suspected under Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal enrichment). Borisov faces up to 10 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
Borisov has been in jail since the summer of 2023.
