At power plants in Ukraine, three power units stopped working for scheduled and emergency repairs. It was reported by Ukrainergo on Monday, April 15.
It indicates that the energy system is working stably and in a balanced way. At the same time, from 06:55 in the Kharkov region, hourly outage schedules were applied. About 240 thousand consumers were de-energized.
Also in Krivoy Rog, consumption limits for industrial consumers continue to apply.
“In other regions, consumption restrictions are not applied for household consumers. But during the hours of daily maximum consumption from 19:00 to 21:00 Dispatch center Ukrainergo called for limiting the use of powerful energy-intensive devices,” the message said.
Yesterday, in order to maintain the balanced operation of the energy system, the operation of renewable energy facilities was limited from 08:40 to 17:40, with a capacity of up to 1566 MW at certain times.
Yesterday, electricity was imported from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Moldova. A total volume of 9242 MWh, with a maximum power in individual hours of up to 1288 MW. No plans to export now.
Due to weather conditions, 36 settlements in Zhytomyr and Khmelnitsky regions were cut off. Repair crews are working to restore power to consumers.
In the Odessa region, work continues to restore power supply after a fire at high-voltage equipment in the region. In the morning, two communities remain without electricity.
For other reasons, 416 communities were without electricity in the morning.
The fighting caused power cuts in the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
