A rocket hit an IDF base in the south of the country and caused some damage to the infrastructure.
The IDF said only a “small number” of Iranian surface-to-air missiles landed in Israel on Sunday, April 14. Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said this, ABC reports.
Hagari said the Israeli Air Force intercepted more than 10 cruise missiles outside the country. In total, he said, more than 200 missiles and UAVs were launched from Iran.
It was learned that a rocket hit the TsAGAL base in the south of the country, and a girl was injured.
Khagari noted that the same missile that injured the child caused minor damage to infrastructure.
Meanwhile, medics from the Red Shield of David said they treated at least 31 people. Two children are known to have been seriously injured in the south of the country.
A fire broke out at a medical facility in Israel’s central Sharon region. Three people were hospitalized with varying degrees of severity: a 40-year-old woman in serious condition with burns and smoke inhalation, and two 80-year-old women in moderate and mild condition, respectively.
Earlier, Israeli media reported that as a result of Iran’s night attack on Israel, 99% of the drones were shot down.
