Since the beginning of 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine has exposed 11 intelligence networks. The main objective is to counter reconnaissance and explosive activity of the enemy. This was said by the head of the Security Service, Vasily Malyuk, the SBU reported on its Telegram channel on Saturday, April 13.
“We do not stop a traitor, but, as a rule, we unwind the whole chain In total, in 2023, the SBU exposed 47 intelligence networks, all the scoundrels were detained, and from the beginning of this year, 11 more have been exposed,” the official noted.
According to him, the intelligence service is resisting:
-
enemy penetration of critical infrastructure facilities, including through cyberspace;
-
blocking attempts to find international aid routes, locations of defense industry enterprises, etc.
He also added that the SBU had recently detained:
-
an FSB agent in Dnepr who took photos and videos of the local thermal power plant and prepared enemy missile attacks;
-
a former police officer in Zaporozhye who monitors defense industry facilities;
-
some employees of Ukrzaliznytsia who provided information to the enemy about the logistics of moving weapons and methods of destruction.
“We have a clear task for President Vladimir Zelensky: to prevent any challenges and we carry it out to protect the lives of citizens and state security,” concluded Malysh.
We would like to remind you that Vasily Malyuk earlier said that the Security Service of Ukraine managed to prevent the killing of the head of the Kherson Police Department, Alexander Prokudin.
In addition, the SBU detained the “assistant” of the Russian Gauleiter, who helped the Russians kidnap Ukrainians during the battles for Kharkov.
