This was reported by the interlocutor of the UP, “Obshchestvenny” and “Obshchestvenny” in the special service.
Danilevich was part of the delegation that in 2017, together with ex-member Novinsky, persuaded Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew not to give the tomos to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
According to Ukrainskaya Pravda’s source in the intelligence service, this archpriest also noted his support for the “Russian world” and justification of Russian aggression.
Danilevich is the deputy chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the UOC (MP).
Danilevich previously believed that the war between Russia and Ukraine exists only on TV. He also assured that there would be no Russian invasion. Danilevich made such statements a few days before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
Danilevich also justified the collaborationism of the UOC (MP), stating that there are many more collaborators in the SBU. In 2021, Danilevich called on believers of the UOC (MP) not to join the army, because there are no UOC (MP) chaplains there.
In 2018, there was information that Nikolai Danilevich regularly met with Maxim Palitaev, the first secretary of the Russian Embassy in Ukraine. The meetings took place in the church where Nikolai Danilevich served. Palitaev has close ties with the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
