This was reported on April 11 by the specialized publication Defense Express. According to its analysts, the found debris indicates the fact of the use of such missiles.
The X-69 launch range was about 400 km, which exceeds known range marks.
According to DE, this is not the first time Russia has used new missiles to attack Ukraine. The first mention of X-69 launches appeared in February of this year. Isolated cases were recorded back in 2023. Then the unofficial information was confirmed by the publication of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Sciences about the study of the wreckage of the X-69.
These missiles may turn out to be worse than the Kinzhals, because launching from tactical aircraft eliminates the characteristic feature of large-scale missile attacks during the takeoff of Tu-95MS and MiG-31K strategic bombers, journalists note.
And the range of use is sufficient to hit a significant number of objects on the territory of Ukraine from tactical aircraft, which can approach the border or front line at 50-70 km.
