These are the data from a survey commissioned by the Public for the “New Countdown” program
More than 50% of respondents place responsibility for this on the TCC and the Verkhovna Rada. 48% consider the president to be guilty of this, and 37% – the Cabinet of Ministers and the VLK.
Only 20% of surveyed men of military age are considering joining the army. 24% are convinced that nothing could motivate them to join the army, while at the same time the agenda could be a motivating factor for 7%.
Among the possible factors that could motivate men of military age to join the army, there are two main groups:
-
the first will be motivated by an attack on their hometown or such a threat (31%), full provision of equipment (29%) and the opportunity to serve in their chosen specialty (27%)
-
the latter will be pushed into the army by guaranteed two-month training (22%), a certain period of service (20%), guaranteed periodic rotation (21%)
