Ukraine can count on the support of the Netherlands next year.
“Amsterdam will allocate 1.5 billion euros for Ukraine in 2025 – these funds will be used for military support, military rehabilitation and restoration,” the publication points out.
It is also indicated that the Netherlands plans to increase its own defense spending to 2% of its own GDP in 2026. In 2024 it will be 2.15%, in 2025 – 2.05%, and in 2026 – 2.22%.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte previously announced the minimum number of F-16s for Ukraine.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the Netherlands promised 42 F-16 fighter jets for our country. “And this is just the beginning,” the head of state insisted.
