In Transcarpathia, border guards detained five men who were trying to get into Romania as volunteers for the Red Cross charity organization.

Two residents of Donbass and three people from Kyiv, Kherson and Nikolaev regions reported that they were going to the Dyakovo checkpoint to cross the border with Romania, they said on April 11 in the Western regional department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – Western Border.
As a basis for traveling abroad during the legal regime of martial law, the men provided volunteer certificates and said that they were following humanitarian aid. During the document check, border guards found fake IDs.
Upon detection of signs of crimes under Art. 358, 332 and 445 of the Criminal Code, the border guards informed the National Police officers and handed over the “volunteers” to them.
