A Reuters poll shows that 41% of respondents will vote for the current president, while only 37% will vote for the former president.

US President Joe Biden has slightly increased his lead over Donald Trump ahead of the upcoming presidential elections in November. This was stated in a Reuters poll.

Among voters who took part in the five-day survey, 41% said they would vote for Biden if the election were held today, while 37% said they would vote for former President Trump.

About 22% of respondents were undecided on a candidate, were inclined to choose a third party, or did not vote at all.

Only two-thirds of eligible voters took part in the 2020 presidential election, in which Biden defeated Trump.

Trump led among respondents without a college degree, while Biden led among those with a degree.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll included responses from 833 registered voters surveyed online across the country. The error is about 4% for registered voters.

Remember that Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in six of seven key swing states. The president’s State of the Union address rallied Democrats and eased concerns about Biden’s age.
