Tariffs for gas and heating will not change until the end of martial law and six months after that.
The Verkhovna Rada at a meeting on Tuesday, June 21, with 229 votes supported on first reading the government bill No. 7427, which will introduce a moratorium on raising gas and heat tariffs. This was announced by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The law provides for the lure of more than UAH 180 billion from international partners to cover the difference in tariffs.
The moratorium will last until the end of martial law and for six months after it is removed.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers recommended the removal of tariffs for equipment at the level of February 24 until the end of martial law.
