In the Poltava region, the number of victims as a result of a Russian missile attack on April 8 has increased to 12, including two children. Psychologists from the National Police and the State Emergency Service provided assistance to about 20 residents.

One person also died. Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko announced this today, April 9, in his Telegram channel.
He noted that that night about 100 rescuers worked in the Poltava region.
The occupiers launched a rocket attack last night on a two-story apartment building where about 30 people lived, the minister said.
Also damaged due to the missile strike:
- two three-story houses;
- one four-story house;
- about a dozen cars.
The rescue operation lasted more than three hours.
