Media Detector reported this on April 8, citing its own sources in OKNU.
Nikolaychuk was removed from his position “under pressure from publicity.”
Nikolaychuk will also not return to his previous position – head of the department of mass communication problems at the OKNA research center: this vacancy has already been filled by another officer.
The press service of the university neither confirms nor denies information about the removal of exorcist Shariy from his position, citing the fact that the internal investigation has not yet been completed.
It has been going on for more than a month – since March 6, 2024, when it became known that the head of the department of military journalism at OKNU in 2019 ran for parliament at number 20 from the Shariy Party.
Then the “Sharievites” lost the elections, gaining 2.23% of the vote, and Nikolaychuk returned to his sports activities: he worked as the head of the international relations group of the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes Detector Media.
Actually, what connects this person with journalism is that he was a member of the board of the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine.
Nikolaychuk was appointed to the position of head of the department at OKNU in November 2023. A few weeks after his appointment, on December 8, he was promoted to colonel.
