Party leaders say the decision to liquidate the Conservative Movement was made by the ruling Georgian Dream Party.
The pro-Kremlin party Conservative Movement, founded by the pro-Russian information portal Alt-Info, has been liquidated in Georgia. Radio Liberty reported this on Monday, April 8.
It is reported that the decision was made by the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia after an appeal from the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
The document indicates violations that, according to the department, were committed during the registration of a political force.
The party was registered in 2021 and planned to participate in the parliamentary elections in October this year.
“Leaders of the political movement say that the decision to liquidate the Conservative Movement was made by the ruling Georgian Dream party,” the publication said.
It was previously reported that the far-right party’s ratings in Germany fell after the protests.
