The turnout for the local elections in 2024 was 51.5%.
Exit poll results show that PiS enjoys strong support among farmers (57.3% of votes), pensioners (42.6%) and workers (44.5%). At the same time, KO voters dominate among students (28.9%) and employees of the administration and service sector (31.8%).
Chairman Law and justice Jaroslaw Kaczynski, after the announcement of the exit poll results, said that his political force could win the parliamentary elections if they were held today, the PAP quoted him.
“Today’s victory should be considered as an encouragement – an encouragement to act decisively, more energetically, to expand our party, and also to create a great victory that will win, because Poland must be a country led of Polish patriots, honest people,” the PiS leader said.
It should be noted that the official results of voting in the elections of local authorities in Poland will be known no earlier than April 10.
